‘TL in Conversation’ begins

Members of the Transform Leatherhead team at community events

On Saturday 5th and Wednesday 9th October the Transform Leatherhead team were pleased to begin the first in a series of autumn public engagement events – TL in Conversation. At these events visitors had the opportunity to catch up on the latest project news and discuss progress with the team.

Councillor Bridget Kendrick, Cabinet Member for Projects, said “Thank you to everyone who turned out for our first two events, the team were busy throughout with a whole range of enquiries. There are two more live events to go: at the Fairfield Centre 14 October 12-2pm and at All Saints Café 17 October 9am – 12pm. The team would be delighted to be joined by those who live, work and run their businesses here. The topics covered include the latest progress on our key redevelopment projects at Claire House and James House and the Swan Centre and the next steps for our High Street and transport plans.”

In November Transform Leatherhead will also host a virtual Q&A with Councillor Bridget Kendrick, Cabinet Member for Projects, and the project team. Featuring questions asked throughout our live events and any questions sent in to the team in advance, the virtual Q&A can be watched online at www.transformleatherhead.com from November 28th.
