There is Still Time to Help Shape Mole Valley’s Future

Mole Valley District Council’s public consultation on its draft Local Plan, Future Mole Valley, is open until Monday 23 March 2020. There are a number of ways in which members of the public can have their say on how development in the district will be planned over the next 15 years, as set out in the draft Plan.

Cllr Margaret Cooksey

Councillor Margaret Cooksey, Cabinet Member for Planning, said: “If you haven’t yet responded to the draft Local Plan consultation, you still have until midnight on Monday 23 March to do so. It is so very important we hear from you so that we may take account of the views of those with an interest in the district. The feedback we receive will not only help define how future development and infrastructure is planned, but how Mole Valley’s environment is protected over the next 15 years.

“You can respond to our consultation in a number of ways. Let us know your views on the draft Local Plan by visiting the Future Mole Valley website to complete the online response form, or download a copy and send it to us by email or in the post. Alternatively, you can write a letter to us. We look forward to hearing from you, in whichever way is easiest for you.”

The draft Local Plan, online consultation response form and supporting evidence documents are available by visiting futuremolevalley.org. Hardcopy versions of these documents are available at Mole Valley District Council’s offices in Dorking, the HelpShop in Leatherhead and the district’s libraries.
